Presented by Alison Tverdov, Psy.D., ABPP-CN
Owner, NeuroCog Solutions

Neuropsychologists play an important role in diagnosing dementia and in developing dementia treatment plans. A neuropsychological evaluation provides information about how the brain works and helps determine why someone is experiencing changes in memory or thinking. The results of the evaluation may reveal whether the memory or thinking changes can be improved or will get worse over time. The evaluation results can also help a neuropsychologist suggest other healthcare professionals that can offer support for persons with dementia and their family members.

In our upcoming guest speaker webinar, Dr. Alison Tverdov will describe the neuropsychological evaluation process and how it can help diagnose different types of dementia. Dr. Tverdov will also discuss ways in which the results of a neuropsychological evaluation can assist caregivers and persons with dementia to better manage the disease.
